Tintin
★★½ (out of ★★★★)

Nationwide - A pulp adventure done in the hair-raising style of a 1930s
serial colliding with Indiana Jones, "The Adventures of Tintin" is a
technically triumphant, if dramatically hollow, adaptation of the famed
comic book series. Based solely on appearance, the film is a hypnotic
aesthetic feat.

★★ (out of ★★★★)

NY/LA - Glenn Close hasn't had a juicy part in ages, and this passion
project must have leapt out as seeming mighty special. The reality,
however, is not quite such a sure thing. Neither the movie nor the
performance is memorable enough to cause much stir.

<http://www.dustinputman.com/reviews/c/11_carnage.htm> Carnage
★★ (out of ★★★★)

Select Cities - Some stage plays translate to screen with ease, and others
do not. "Carnage," based on Yasmina Reza's Tony-winning black comedy "God
of Carnage," is stuffy and stilted, its real-time, single-location setup a
contrivance it never gets over.
