A second chance . . .

Spring has sprung, the cherry blossoms have bloomed, the snow is behind us and 80 degree days are ahead of us!! What more could one ask for??

How about a second chance at life?? Well, a few years ago that’s exactly what Cynthia Puryear, my colleague and dear friend did. (For those that do not know, Cynthia's is a kidney donor and her Mother is alive today in great part because of this unselfish gift.)

Cynthia is one our key strategic partners and we are so proud of her recent appointment to the executive committee of National Kidney Foundation's (NKF) Living Donors Council (LDC).

This inaugural group will be responsible for assisting NKF in identifying unmet needs for living kidney donors and those considering donation, developing programs and resources to meet those needs, and being advocates for donors and potential donors.

Wishing you all the best and remember how one simple unselfish act can help save the life of a fellow human being.
