Renew Vehicle Decals

Dear DMV customer:

It's time to renew decals for your 2012 FORD with a VIN ending in 6944. The registration will expire on 11/30/2022. Virginia law adds a $10 late fee to renew expired decals. Don't be late!

If you own an electric or fuel efficient vehicle and pay a highway use fee, you qualify to participate in the Mileage Choice Program. Instead of paying the highway use fee all at once, you pay the fee on a per-mile basis. You only pay for the miles you drive, so if you drive less, you pay less. If you end up driving a little more, you'll never pay more than your annual highway use fee. You can sign up for the program beginning July 1, 2022. You must enroll in the program before renewing your vehicle registration. Learn more at dmvNOW.com/VAMileageChoice.

Renew your vehicle registration online. Your record will be instantly updated and you may print a temporary vehicle registration which can be used to show proof of updated registration until your decals and card arrive in the mail.

Notify DMV if you have sold or traded this vehicle.

To opt out of receiving e-notices, update your myDMV Account online.

Safe driving starts at home. Visit www.nhtsa.gov/recalls to see if your vehicle is under recall.
