Fifteen years ago I met man named Dario Gabbai at a hotel in Los Angeles. As I returned to LA on business over the years, we would see each other in the fitness facility and always carry on pleasant conversations. I recall him telling me about his background and filed the information away like we do with most things. Years have passed since I have talked with Dario. On this 70th anniversary of Auschwitz, I was reminded of him and his bravery, humbleness and the human spirit. I called him today to say hello and left a message. His story has been told by many.
