Still time to sneak into a theater

Opening This Week:

★★ (out of ★★★★)

Nationwide - Undeniably European in its sensibilities, the film bides far
too much time standing along the sidelines rather than acting on its seamy,
corkscrew revenge plot. Colin Farrell and Noomi Rapace are a pairing made in
Hollywood heaven. It's too bad "Dead Man Down" can't quite pull itself out
of purgatory.

<http://www.dustinputman.com/reviews/o/13_oz.htm> Oz the Great and Powerful
★★★ (out of ★★★★)

Nationwide - No matter what Oz is, or symbolizes, "Oz the Great and
Powerful" is an inventive and stirring fantasy, not always airtight in its
narrative and pacing, but finally full of the very heart the Wicked Witch
tragically gets taken away from her. Chances are very good that L. Frank
Baum would be immensely pleased.
