Opening This Week:

★★★½ (out of ★★★★)

Select Cities on 11/23 - A motion picture for anyone who loves movies,
revels in the art of filmmaking, and appreciates the special, one-of-a-
kind, cathartic power of great horror cinema. It's endlessly entertaining,
sweeping by in an effortless 98-minute gush, and also unexpectedly moving.

★★★½ (out of ★★★★)

Nationwide - One of the year's most gripping dramas, a visual wonderstruck
with an emotional chord that reverberates far beyond the awesome imagery.
"Life of Pi" is destined to astound audiences who presumptuously believe
they've seen it all.

★★½ (out of ★★★★)

Nationwide - Viewers willing to check their brains at the door and go along
for the ride will find it a suitably exciting, if not exactly tougher or
smarter, version of subject matter that is timely in an entirely different
way than it was nearly thirty years ago.

<http://www.dustinputman.com/reviews/r/12_riseoftheguardians.htm> Rise of
the Guardians
★★ (out of ★★★★)

Nationwide - A wasted concept that fails to take advantage of its own
originality. Cold and distant, the film smells like a project completed by
committee, its quirkiness either shaved off or the wrong kind. When all is
said and done, there isn't a whole lot worth remembering.
