Peking Gourmet Inn

The old saying "some things remain the same" couldn't be truer for my
favorite restaurant-The Peking Gourmet Inn located in Falls Church, Virginia
http://www.pekinggourmet.com/ For over 30 years and after several hundred
dining experiences, the place remains #1 in my book as my favorite place to
eat. Mind you, having travelled far and wide and eaten at holes in the
walls and five star establishments, Peking Gourmet has always remained my
bench mark for quality, taste and flavor. In fact a few years ago, we had
the good fortune of hosting a delegation from Beijing for dinner and upon
departing, the guest of honor apologized that he would not be able the
replicate the dining experience when we visited Beijing. He was correct.
However, the article in the September 28th Wall Street Journal

seems to indicate that perhaps things are
changing in Beijing. What is of particular interest is the special mention
of my favorite (and soon to be yours) restaurant. In highlighting eateries
around the world and the United States, The Peking Gourmet Inn stands atop
the hill alone. The next time you feel like dining out or are visiting DC
and want a special place to eat-give them a try. You will not be
disappointed. And if all else fails and the menu is overwhelming------just
tell George, Millie, Bobby or Raymond----you want Mr. Azeez's menu!!! Happy
eating!!
