Take a break from raking leaves this weekend..........

Opening This Week:

★½ (out of ★★★★)

Nationwide - It all boils down to buff adults playing dress-up in front of
green screens without a thing of consequence to say or do when they're not
ripping apart or beheading their adversaries. In between the meticulously
choreographed swordplay is an absolutely deadening pace and tone, so
gloomily self-serious that whatever pleasure one might have gained from the
sights of pretty people and graphic violence is rendered null and void.

<http://www.dustinputman.com/reviews/j/11_jackandjill.htm> Jack and Jill
★★ (out of ★★★★)

Nationwide - "Jack and Jill" isn't awful or particularly successful. It is,
however, the curiosity piece expected, totally undemanding and just bizarre
enough in concept to keep one's interest up. Adam Sandler is obviously
having fun, and it is his endearing spin on brother and sister Jack and
Jill that keeps the film watchable.

<http://www.dustinputman.com/reviews/j/11_jedgar.htm> J. Edgar
★★½ (out of ★★★★)

Nationwide - Director Clint Eastwood and screenwriter Dustin Lance Black do
not shy away from the rumors that swirl to this day around Hoover's mythos
and character, but they are respectful rather than sensationalistic to his
memory. Whether the events are fabricated or not from what really happened,
the emotions ring true.
